Real Wedding Restroom Trailer

I had a barn wedding in Leesburg, Virginia where we had to bring in a restroom trailer. I wanted to show you that they aren’t as hideous as you think. You can’t see them here, but we had a few potted plants to mask the trailer hitch on the front of the trailer. Since this was my “chicken wedding” (the bride and groom have pet chickens), I dressed up the trailer doors with rooster and hen decals from Vinyl Designs by CJ. The trailer happened to be placed by some porta-potties that belong to the venue.

Wedding Restroom Trailer Tips

There are multiple things to consider with wedding restroom trailers. Here are my top tips:

  1. Rent the largest trailer that you can fit in your backyard
  2. Rent a restroom for the installation teams coming during the week of your wedding
  3. Have a drop table outside of the trailer with sunscreen and bug spray
  4. Have an amenity basket inside the restrooms for your guests
  5. Get the restroom trailer it’s own generator
  6. Pay the restroom supplier to fill the water tanks in the trailers
  7. Designate someone to turn the trailers on and off at the appropriate times

And most importantly, have a great plan for all your wedding installations.
