Maryland Private Estate Wedding

I’m so excited to share this gorgeous Maryland wedding ceremony with you, hosted at the parents’ private estate. We created a design that leaned into the bucolic setting, but we kept it contemporary with a gorgeous sailcloth tent, and we kept it on trend with a warm, autumnal, and dusty color palette.

As I have said a few times before, always bury the bourbon. It is a fun yet harmless tradition, and if you have good weather on your wedding day, you’ll feel like a witch. As you can see, we had great weather for this Maryland private estate wedding. All the better if you don’t mind throwing back a shot of liquor before you head down the aisle.

Maryland Private Estate Wedding Ceremony

This gorgeous rust-colored bridge was an existing feature on this private estate, and the couple knew that it would be the perfect backdrop for their wedding ceremony. Good thing the bridge existed in a position where the wedding guests would not be facing the sparkling sun during the ceremony!

The floral design Cedar & Lime came out to the home before the wedding to ensure she knew how to affix the floral garden to the top of the bridge. We knew that anything set at the bottom of the bridge would be lost in the photos.

In addition to toasting with the buried bourbon before the ceremony, the couple also included an Irish toast during their Maryland wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony, the couple and the guests took a short walk to the back of the house. There, they gathered by the pool and in the lovely yard, enjoying cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres.
