This was my second time working at this home, having the privilege of working with this family twice on two different Virginia backyard micro weddings. Unfortunately, the only thing I have to show from that wedding (aside from the gorgeous couple and their adorable kids, below) is a grainy timelapse of the tent setup. I think you can find it on YouTube.

This was an instance where, years ago, we just had a yard to set up in, but now we had the hardscaping of the driveway, the detached garage, and the club room to build our event space off of. Using the paved area allowed us to avoid paying for a tent floor. Having the club room nearby with a bathroom allowed us to skip renting a bathroom trailer. The path down from the valet to the tent is a little steep, so we laid a low pile carpet for guests to safely walk on.

Don’t miss the cars hidden in the garage ceiling! We did wrap the garage in pipe and drape to smooth out the rougher edges, as it were. You can just see where we swagged the drape open to allow access to the club room and bathroom.
This couple had married three years earlier in London with a simple city hall elopement. (This vow renewal was delayed two years by Covid while we waited for our international guests to be able to travel easily.) The bride had carried a DIY bouquet that we managed to replicate for this vow renewal. Since the bouquet was white, pastel blue, and light pink, we based the table design on those colors as well. We used three shades of gray linens to create a dynamic ombre effect on the long dinner tables.
