If you are looking to use your barn or large shed as a wonderful backdrop to your wedding day, be prepared for having to bring in a lot of vendors to help make all your wedding dreams come true (like portable restroom trailers and power sources like generators along with electricians on call for power outages). If you are on a tighter budget, also be prepared to roll up your sleeves to do a lot of cleaning, weeding, painting and planting.
