And here is some advice directly from Tabitha for your at-home wedding:
My best tip for clients when they are planning at backyard, at-home style wedding is to invest in professionals for services that will help your wedding vendor team. Having an electrician come out to wire additional electricity for the weekend will save a lot of headaches and stress for everyone involved. Knowing that they have access to safe, secure, and reliable outlets and electricity is a great gift to make the vendors job run smoother and easier. There really is nothing that will stop a great dance party in its tracks like losing the DJ equipment because he is hooked up to an overloaded circuit. Also, have a professional tree trimming and landscape service come out the week of the wedding to do an swipe of the land. This will save parents, friends, or family from running the risk of getting hurt or overworked before the wedding trying to take care of all of the elements. You want to make sure that landscapers come before the tent is installed to make sure they have full access to their yard. These small touches are ones that guests may never notice but they will lay a great foundation for your wedding vendors to come in and perform without working around technical issues.
Check back tomorrow when we share a gorgeous at-home wedding from Tabitha and her team at Roberts & Co. Events.
