For my third and final post on Courtney and Cameron’s at-home wedding reception in Fairfax, Virginia (you click can see the real at-home wedding details and the Fairfax, Virginia wedding reception) we are looking at their clear top frame tent.
This couple was expecting 200 guests and the yard was a little tight on contiguous space, considering the existing landscaping and pool. Luckily we were able to spread out into the neighbor’s yard and use a pole tent for dinner and a frame tent for the buffet and later for dancing.
You will notice that the tent poles have leg drapes on them, and we have fans in the corners for this hot June day. These, along with the dance floor, the ceiling drape, and string lights were all provided by the tent company. This area of the yard was flat enough that we did not need a leveled floor – unlike the area where the round tent was, which had about a 4-foot grade.
I included a floor plan in this post, so you could see how the whole set up looked like. Thanks to Michelle Lindsay for the photos, Skyline Tents for the tents and lighting, DC Rental for the tables, chairs, and linens, and Holly Chapple for the gorgeous flowers.
